Structural Engineer

Patuxent Engineering is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team. We specialize in structural engineering for construction/demolition processes. Duties will include: design of shoring, forming and scaffolding analysis of buildings for construction/demolition load applications, heavy civil construction and industrial maintenance projects.

Qualifications:

• MINIMUM 3-5 years of structural design experience

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, RISA and calculations for buildings

• Scaffold, Shoring and Transit Systems knowledge is desired

• Structural design experience with beams, concrete and masonry

• Experience in the field/on site is a plus

Patuxent Engineering, LLC is seeking a structural engineer (mid-level to senior level). We provide engineering services in the heavy construction industries for bridge and high-rise building industries for temporary structures as well as means and methods. The ideal applicant should be familiar with concrete (and steel) building and bridge design but have specific experience in temporary structure, re-shoring, worker-access solutions as well as personnel and material delivery solutions (cranes and hoists).

Must have strong understanding of design standards and codes for concrete, wind, and local regulations for New York City, Philadelphia, and New Jersey.

Candidate requirements:
